DISC is one of the world’s leading behavioural profiling tool. DISC stands for the four main behavioural styles of D for dominance, I for influencer, S for steadiness and C for compliant. At Forward Performance we use the personality profile tool known as Extended DISC®.

Extended Disc®The Extended DISC® tool is all about measuring behaviour, it does not measure personality or intelligence, and there is no good or bad behaviour. In fact everyone is a mixture of the D, I, S and C. Successful people come in all different behavioural styles.

Common characteristics of each behavioural style are

  • Dominance (D): decisive, strong willed, demanding, independent
  • Influencer (I): sociable, talkative, open, energetic, persuasive
  • Steadiness (S): calm, steady, good listener, modest, trustworthy
  • Compliance (C): precise, follows rules, logical, careful, formal
